All That Was Bright addresses human influence on the world, imagining alternative stories with playfulness and humor undergirded by a deep awareness of loss and precarity. Relationships in the natural world are recontextualized and re-envisioned through sculpture, interactive installation, and fiber art. The gallery becomes a timeless space as the human form is delocalized, sidestepped, and steeped in animism and folklore.
